Because my forum was used rather seldom, I have stopped it and have replaced it with this FAQ page.
I receive many requests to Swiss manager and Chess-Results.com. Here I will publish questions of general interest.
1 How to import the national ratinglist?
It is possible to import a (national) ratinglist on basis of an Excelfiles. A sample Excel-file is available on my Homepage under
http://swiss-manager.at/unload/NationalRatings.xls.
How to do (for Unicode):
- Download the example-excel-File
- Fill your data into the Excel-File (See also sheet "help")
- In Swiss-Manager: Menu-Item "Rating Lists / Import rating lists" ==> Import rating lists
- Select option "UniCode Version"
- Select ratinglist ADDx Additional rating list
- Select the Excel-File
- Enter "Short name (federation)
- Start Import
How to do (for non Unicode):
- Download the example-excel-File
- Fill your data into the Excel-File (See also sheet "help")
- In Swiss-Manager: Menu-Item "Rating Lists / Import rating lists" ==> Import rating lists
- Select ratinglist "NAT national rating list"
- Enter Select the Excel-File
- Optional: Enter "Data validity
- Start Import
